Roundtables
What is a Roundtable?
Monthly Roundtables are conducted by each District to provide the latest program information, guidance and a forum for the sharing of experiences and resources.
The aim of Roundtables is to provide the will and the skill to do. If leaders have these two things, they can succeed, and they will continue to succeed.
The will to do - in the form of morale, enthusiasm and information - is distributed regularly (for the will to do is perishable)
The skill to do - in the form of skills, program ideas, techniques, and information - is taught a piece at a time (for there is so much to learn)
A roundtable is fun - practical - inspiring - full of skills - loaded with techniques - brimming with program ideas.
Who attends Roundtables?
Roundtables are designed for all leaders. Cub Scout Roundtables should be attended by Den Leaders and their assistants, Webelos Leaders and their assistants, Cubmasters, Assistant Cubmasters and Pack Committee members, Boy Scout Leader Roundtables are meant to be attended by Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters and Troop Committee members. Unit Commissioners attend the Roundtables in which their leaders are involved.
